Walk for Africa and Help Families in Need
Are you looking for an opportunity to help your less fortunate brothers and sisters across the globe this Ramadan? Well, here at É«É«Ñо¿Ëù we’re calling on our supporters to join us on one of our 5km walks to support needy families across Africa. Why not sign up and fundraise for this crucial cause?
We’ll be walking in five cities across the UK, raising funds to provide food and medical supplies to families in urgent need in Africa. Join one of our walks in:
• Bradford
• Birmingham
• Leicester
• Manchester
• London
Your generosity and support over the years has enabled us to continue and expand our work in the region. With the escalating food crisis, families in Africa desperately need your support.
Why join?
As ongoing famine continues to cause devastation across Africa, the UN has warned that as many as 1.4 million children could die of starvation in the coming months. Without drastic action, millions more will die.
É«É«Ñо¿Ëù has been working with communities in 27 of the poorest countries in Africa to provide essential food and water relief, education, livelihoods support and healthcare for over twenty years. Thanks to the support of our generous donors, we’ve been able to reach millions of people suffering the effects of war, famine and drought. From providing emergency relief at times of crisis, to establishing orphan sponsorship and educational programmes, we’ve remained committed to empowering communities across the continent.
This Ramadan, help us provide urgent food aid and medical assistance. The Prophet (saw) said:
'O people, feed the hungry, spread Salaam...'Â (Bukhari)
After the walk, we’re also inviting all participants to come together for a free communal iftar accompanied by a range of entertainment from our special guests.
So, challenge yourself this Ramadan and sign up for one our Walk for Africa events. Bring your family and friends and join us for a fun-filled evening, knowing that you’ll be making a difference every step of the way.
