At É«É«Ñо¿Ëù, we’re committed to fighting food poverty worldwide, by providing food parcels, running school feeding programmes and implementing sustainable food and livelihood programmes. Every Ramadan, we provide iftar and sahur to some of the most vulnerable people in the world, through both food parcels and cooked community meals.

In Ramadan 2021, we've committed to providing over 2 million meals across the globe. This would not be possible without your incredible generosity! Your support is not only giving hope to our brothers and sisters, it is also multiplying the rewards of your own fasts, alhamdulillah!

Here are a few of the families you'll be sharing the blessings with this Ramadan:

The ongoing pandemic has severely impacted those who were already vulnerable. 52-year old Hasan is worried about how he will provide for his family this Ramadan:

'I was made unemployed after the pandemic began. I used to live in dignity, with all my sons gathered around me for the iftar meal in Ramadan. Now my family is always hungry and I have to ask my neighbours for help. I see my children's eyes filling with tears when we have no food, and I am afraid they will be fighting the daily battle of poverty for the rest of their lives. What if they become street children to earn some money? No child should ever have to live like this, not knowing where their next meal is going to come from and what they might have to do to get it'.

This Ramadan, Hasan will keep making du'a that Allah (swt) gives him the opportunity to earn a livelihood. By sending him a Ramadan Food Parcel, you will be lifting a huge burden off his shoulders, reassuring him that his children will be fed nutritious iftar and sahur for the whole month.
In Idlib in Syria, our brothers and sisters are living in tents and makeshift shelters, without even a home this Ramadan.

Aisha, a widowed mother of seven, says, 'We haven't prepared any food for this Ramadan, because we can't afford to. We are just waiting for any Sadaqah that comes to us. Otherwise, we won't eat anything. Last Ramadan was difficult because my children were hungry…my only du'as are for food, a better tent, and clothes for my children'.

The people of Syria were particularly beloved to the Prophet (saw) and he prayed to Allah to 'relieve them of their burdens' [Tabarani]. By giving an Emergency Ramadan Food Parcel, you can provide enough food for 420 meals - enough to feed a Syrian family iftar and sahur for the whole month!
The most vulnerable people in Lebanon have suffered a lot over the last year, impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, a severe economic crisis and skyrocketing inflation, compounded by the devastating explosion in Beirut port. They need our help more than ever this Ramadan.

Nahla is a widowed mother of three, and she has been struggling to provide for her children since her husband passed away last year. Unable to pay rent, she moved back to her own family home, where Nahla and her children share one bedroom and a bathroom.

Your iftar and sahur donations will make a world of difference to this grieving family. When our team asked Nahla's children if they had a message for you, they said: 'We wish you lives full of love, happiness and serenity, and we will enjoy the food that you send!'
Orphaned Mohamed lives in Sri Lanka, and he is making lots of du'a for generous donors this Ramadan! 'I am praying for my parents, for the É«É«Ñо¿Ëù teams, and for all the people who give Sadaqah to those in need around the world. May Allah give you barakah and keep you healthy'.

Without your iftar and sahur donations, families like Mohamed's wouldn't be able to afford nutritious food in the blessed month. May Allah accept his du'as and put barakah in all of your Zakat and Sadaqah!
Alhamdulillah, our team have already started distributing Ramadan Food Parcels to families across the world!

Give now to multiply the reward of your fast. Allah (swt) tells us that, ‘Every deed of the son of Adam is for him except fasting; it is for Me and I shall reward for it.’ [Bukhari]

Multiply your fasts in the blessed month by giving a Ramadan Food Parcel! Each food parcel contains enough supplies for 420 meals, which will provide iftar and sahur to a family of seven for the whole month! This includes essentials such as: flour, rice, pulses and dates.

In Ramadan 2022, we are providing Ramadan Food Parcels in Bangladesh, Gambia, Lebanon (including in the Syrian refugee camps), Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Pakistan, Rwanda, Senegal, Somalia, Sri Lanka and Sudan.

We are also distributing Emergency Food Parcels in Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen, India-administered Kashmir and the Rohingya refugee camps. Moreover, we are providing food parcels in Palestine ²¹²Ô»åÌýcooked iftar at Masjid Al-Aqsa.
